The pieces crumble, some float to the surface.
Other pieces sink, never to be seen again,
But always remembered, never enjoyed.
Heartbreak resembles the tearing of memories,
Shredded lives and experiences.
Unforgettable moments of love,
Forever lost in the rubble of the wreck.
The havoc, the lost souls,
Having lived through the stormy debris,
Find a raft floating, a lifesaver of strength,
A shred to hang onto that beckons life.
New life to breathe happiness into every soul,
Reaches out to help and strengthen.
A branch of truth and happiness,
Soothes the wrecked endangered heart.
A cello plays on, the memories,
Of life as the wreckage is tossed about.
Pieces of lives ripped apart,
But long remembering the love.
A bow pulled across the strings of a cello,
Mesmerize the watchers and wonderers.
What will happen now, who will be saved?
What will become of the shipwrecked hearts?
The hearts stranded in a stormy sea,
Awaiting rescue from the dangers ahead.
Awakening to a quiet, calm day.
A day of repair and renewal on the stormy sea of love.
